Guelph is also rich in culture, history, and natural beauty. Known for award-winning festivals, independent eateries, a thriving university community, and historic buildings and landmarks, the city is surrounded by sprawling natural areas, sparkling rivers, and picturesque views. The Residence is a 1-hour drive from Toronto International Airport (YYZ). Private transportation from local airports is available.

Historic charm

Originally built in 1903, The Residence was formerly the private residence of the Medical Superintendent for Homewood. In 2016, a thoughtful plan was unveiled to restore this important building, retaining its historic Edwardian charm, while offering the modern upgrades and elegant finishes you would expect in a fine hotel.
