Lisa Vanderloop

Psychotherapist (Qualifying), The Residence

Lisa Vanderloop holds status as a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist. She achieved her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Nipissing University, a Bachelor’s of Social Work from the University of Waterloo, and a Masters in Counselling Psychology from the University of Western Ontario. Lisa’s areas of expertise include crisis intervention, mood disorders, and addictions. Lisa’s work at The Residence at Homewood includes delivering a range of modalities of treatment including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Narrative Therapy. Lisa has experience providing counselling services in both an individual and group format. She has delivered services to populations across the lifespan whom experience a variety of mental health concerns and concurrent challenges.

Lisa assumes a client-centered approach in her practice. She utilises tailored interventions and evidence-based research to inform her practice. Her approach to working with patients is genuine, unique, and empathic.
