Dr. Christopher Clarkstone, MD, FRCPC

Psychiatrist, The Residence

Dr. Christopher Clarkstone completed his medical training (MD) at the University of Ottawa, and his postgraduate psychiatric training at McMaster University. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as well as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University.


In addition to his clinical work at the Residence, Dr. Clarkstone serves as the Medical Lead for both repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) and Ketamine within Homewood’s Interventional Psychiatry Service. In this role, he supports the delivery of evidence based treatments through clinical oversight, assessment, and ongoing patient care. Dr. Clarkstone has previously worked on the Addiction Medicine Program – Mood, Anxiety, Concurrent (AMP-MAC), and the Integrated Mood, Anxiety, and Addiction Concurrent Program (IMAAC) at Homewood Health Centre in Guelph.
