The Residence is located on the same 50-acre campus as the Homewood Health Centre, a Canadian leader in treatment for mental health and addictions.
For more than 140 years, the Homewood Health Centre has been the cornerstone of Canadian mental health and addiction treatment and one of its foremost mental health treatment facilities. In addition to outstanding treatment, the Homewood Health Centre is a research and education leader directly affiliated with the Homewood Research Institute and McMaster University and other post-secondary education leaders and serves as a provincial and national resource for patients, families and their communities.
The Homewood Health Centre is an accredited 300 bed Schedule 1 mental health facility providing medically-based treatment and specialized programs in addiction medicine, mood and anxiety disorder treatment, PTSD treatment, comprehensive psychiatric care, eating disorders, and co-occuring issues.
