- Proximity to this fully accredited, 300-bed hospital, enables the integration of some of the country’s most innovative, evidence-based approaches for addiction & mental health treatment.
- The Residence leverages Homewood Health Centre’s deep expertise and specialized programming in addiction medicine, mood and anxiety disorder treatment, PTSD treatment, comprehensive psychiatric care, eating disorders, and co-occurring issues.
- Innovative treatment options through a full suite of Interventional Psychiatry Services, including ECT, rTMS, pharmacological intravenous & nasal spray therapies- offered at no extra cost, as medically indicated.
- Additional services that can be accessed include therapeutic services such as massage therapy, horticultural therapy, peer support groups; access to Homewood’s full complement of recreational facilities and its creative space; dietary consultations with our Registered Dietician; and spiritual care with our Chaplains.
- The Homewood Health Centre is a provincial and national mental health resource for clients and their families affiliated with the Homewood Research Institute and McMaster University.

Your treatment plan is personalized, dynamic, and individualized to your specific clinical needs, treatment goals, and progress. Each week, you can expect a typical average between 8-12 individual sessions with an interdisciplinary team that may include a psychiatrist, psychologist, social worker, occupational therapist, recreational therapist, mental health nurses, personal trainer, art therapist and addictions counsellor.
