Edith has over 17 years of clinical experience and training in the fields of addiction, mental health and trauma. She received bachelor’s degrees in both Psychology and Criminology at the University of Ottawa in 1999 and a Master of Social Work in Individuals, Families and Groups at Wilfrid Laurier in 2003. Edith’s specialties include compulsive behaviours such as sexual addiction and hyper sexuality, gambling, video gaming and internet use, shopping and shoplifting, and eating behaviours.
She also provides psychotherapy and counselling to clients struggling with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar disorder and personality disorders. Edith has a person-centered, strengths-based approach and works collaboratively with clients to support them in reaching their goals and leading a more satisfying life.
